What If Your Government Knew About UFOs?
We’re talking about the recent news that the U.S. government ran a secret, black budget program to research unidentified aerial phenomenon from 2007–2012. The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program was headed by Luis Elizondo, who is now working with Tom DeLonge’s company, To The Stars.

Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program
A New York Times article written by Helene Cooper, Leslie Keane, and Ralph Blumenthal has reported that the Pentagon spent $22 million in “black money” from 2007-2012 on the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program. The majority, possibly all, of this money went to Robert Bigelow/Bigelow Aerospace to conduct research. Luis Elizondo, the program’s director, resigned in October of 2017, citing an unnecessary amount of secrecy surrounding his work. He has since partnered with Tom DeLonge’s company, To The Stars Academy of Arts and Science.
The program was initially funded at the request of Senator Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat who was the Senate majority leader at the time. Senators Ted Stevens, an Alaska Republican, and Daniel K. Inouye, a Hawaii Democrat, also supported the program. The program produced documents that describe sightings of unidentified aircraft with seemingly impossible capabilities. They have also released two videos of the unidentified craft. They have also claimed to be in possession of materials and technology recovered from unidentified craft. It has also been implied that they are attempting to reverse engineer this technology.
The AATIP appears to be the latest in a long line of U.S. government UFO research efforts that began with projects Sign, Grudge, and Blue Book.
